The report is both players tested positive for Covid. Neither player has symptoms and both are vaccinated. They have sat out the protocol time and are waiting on a negative test result.

On August 23,2021 The Big Ten released a statement that any athletic contest between conference schools that had to be canceled because of Covid 19 would not be rescheduled and would be a forfeiture. This would be true for all sports. The statement was unequivocal.

I’m with you. The conference met and made a statement before the season began about what would happen if conference games were canceled. Pretty sure Iowa would prefer to make it up, but that isn’t what the conference said in October. Non conference games are different. The Big Ten can’t enforce...

The officiating was awful. IUPUI shot 19 2nd half FT’s ,Iowa shot 2. If you watched the game (which I doubt) you would have seen the officials get caught up in the rally and missed many calls. Hawks could have shot better and they made too many mistakes. This loss was more than 50% on the officials!

Tied 31-31 at the half. Hawks gave up three 3 pointers in a row and lucky to be tied at the half. They must have had 14 or 15 turnovers in the first half. Need to clean that up.

BTN is running, but no announcers. We only have the PA guy. Hawks up 17-13 after one quarter.
