Baylor beat 4 straight Kenpom top 20 teams to get to Zags...then beat the Zags. The Zags beat 2...USC & UCLA. SC did everything they could to help the Zags. But there was no way to put off Baylor any longer than they did.

I think UCLA will be in the top 5 if everyone comes back. But they got really hot at the right time. I still remember that MSU had them beat.

I have to think the player that charged makes that 12 foot pull up jumper 90% of the time. Why in the world would he put his head down and go charging to the basket...especially when officials tend to swallow whistles in those situations.

I had AZ money line. I’ve watched UConn a few times and wasn’t impressed. I’d never seen AZ but figured they had to be better. PAC12 really showed for both men and women.

Forgot to answer the question...I’m very excited. Connor and CJ have arguably the highest basketball IQs on the team. Combine their experience, leadership, etc. with the young talent and we could be very good. A lot will depend on becoming a top 50 D.

We think shooting will be a big drop off. But the young guys weren’t shooting the 3 this year...with Garza and the multitude of shooters. There may not be a huge drop off. We won’t know until we get a decent sample size.
