The whole game was a slugfest. The goalline play had so much drama in it and so close to an epic finish for Iowa Credit MSU - their defense made plays. The Calhoun sacks were huge for them and cost us...

That was an amazing sequence. The center pulled and almost didn't get to Jewell. Yes he tackled Jewell Spears came in to clean up but dives at the player and misses......he could have just knocked the ball out of Scott hand That was an amazing close play. Kind of painful to think what...

I tend to agree. It will be interesting to see Kirk manage expectations next year. No reason this team shouldn't be back in the title game. Can they play with expectations?

Wadley started and had the first two touches.... Wadley was the key to only real drive - 11 plays that ended in the 'interception' Then Wadley disappeared behind Daniels. BIG mistake in my opinion Need to feature Wadley in the bowl game

He had 2 carries Daniels became the feature back and he is more a 3rd down bruiser Needed Wadley more. Wadley was under utilized all season. He is clearly a difference maker

we didn't get any breaks in this game. Thats the disappointing part. We left 10pts out there. MSU seemed to get more of the 'key' breaks

Have to credit MSU - they executed an unbelievable 22 plays. Astounding. We were gassed. Just on the filed way too long....

MSU drives in the 2nd half vs our drives on our last drive 4-2 @ MSU 47..... needed to go for that Too conservative on the those early 2nd half drives. We just couldn't flip the field position. We needed first downs.

Expectation should be to be in this same position, same game next year. We really should be..... I think the Hawks are better next year. Can they play with expectations?

We sure didnt help ourselves any in the game. We basically gave them 10pts... the early fumble led to FG and the endzone pick cost us 7
