I agree with most of this. I think a talented QB is a must (which can be a crap shoot), but coaching has to run the offense to best use the QB's talents and what talents he has around him.
Not too bad by our D. I'm still thinking 27 might be the lowest Michigan scores in the B1G this year. I think they'll average 40 points per game. Their only loss will probably be the Buckeyes.

Yeah, I don't know how to query up total points allowed in the first four games in previous years for comparison, but I suspect this D will be special. Hopefully, our O clicks enough to give our D a breather between possessions.
Maybe a punchers chance is appropriate. If we can get just a couple of drives or even a couple of plays to work, our defense might be able to control the rest of the game. Who knows?
