We'll be better on D with more minutes going to the other guards. Need Joe and CJ to stay aggressive as we'll need their scoring even more.

We've had a lot of Iowa kids on the basketball roster who grew up around the rivalry. Just this year (Connor, Patrick, Pemsl, Kriener, JBo, Wieskamp, Till, Baer). Worley, Oliver, Horner, Haluska, Brunner, Woodbury, Baer, McCabe, May, Jok, Uthoff, Gatens, etc.

I like this team but I think when we lose JBo, it changes everything, especially for Connor. I think the Nunge injury might be a blessing that it's forcing us to smaller lineups and Garza certainly benefits having more room to operate but I still wish we were deeper. I'm much more positive...

That's a heck of a win for a shorthanded team at a very difficult place to play so I don't want to take away from that but this Syracuse team doesn't look good so other than the name on the jersey, I don't know that it will be a quality win at end of year.

CJ was great but this team is different with JBo in the starting lineup. The lineup with 4 guards around Garza just gives Luka even more space. Granted I think this matchup was a good one for Luka. But credit to Fran to go with the smaller lineup and the way we defended.
