WVU isn't uptempo. They are pretty average there and much slower than Iowa. They don't really press anymore either, honestly I don't know why. They play a pretty standard game now which I think hurts them. They were the worst team in the league last year IMO by a wide margin.

The recruiting advantages at Duke were because of K though, so I'm not sure you can separate the two.

The Big 12 was IMO a much more physical league than the Big 10 this year and the league had a much better tourney. I really don't think this notion that the Big 10 is officiated differently has much merit. IMO it's all about the talent level.
