Not so worried about the number of plays; moreso the ineptitude with which we were doing it on the number of plays we had. Indeed. And painful sacks at that, on 3rd down and at the edge of FG range. I think what's more painful is the complete inability to impose our will and run the ball successfully, whether in a competitive situation or a 4 minutes situation (i.e. trying to use clock). I think I count (2) 2nd half...

First half: 35 plays, 160 yards Second half: 25 plays, 24 yards Defense and special teams out of this world...offense, not so much.

Yep...too much time and with nothing in front of them, no reason for LBs to stop dropping to support safeties. Make Purdy have to put even more on that throw to get it in to the WR by continuing to gain depth

And they get the ball back 1st after half...that was an absolutely brutal breakdown on the long pass play.

That handoff to Pottebaum was only 5 yards, but that was such a huge play as a tendency breaker out of a 100% pass formation (previously).

This is one of the most subjective penalties in football. The WR not in motion is at least a yard and a half off the ball, so I think he's ok (i.e. not covering the TE). They have a wide view and they pan in slowly, but it also looks like he checks with the ref pre-snap to suggest he should be...
