Ehhh I don't know if I'd go that far about Barta. I still have a lot of reservations about him. It may be unfair but I still don't trust Barta to make good decisions. Maybe if it wasn't for all of the PR blunders we've had under him I'd have more faith.

Everyone posting in this thread likes Fran and wants him to be our coach. It would be nice if the people who question the timing of the extension weren't being insulted for simply having a different opinion. We can disagree and still be civil.

Literally no one has said he needs to go if he loses second round. I don't even think anyone said he shouldn't be extended. The argument others and I have is what was wrong with waiting a few weeks to see what happens? Other schools are not and were not beating down our door to interview him.

He looked pretty damn fluid for his size and age on that dunk in one of his tweets. You can't teach size. He could easily be a legit 7 foot or more by the time he steps on campus.

Okay so anytime a team happens to reach a top 5 ranking they should just immediately extend their coach without taking anything else into consideration? Look, we clearly disagree, so it's probably silly for us to continue arguing, and I like you as a poster, so let's just agree to disagree.
