Interesting recruit's perspective on the ISU v Iowa series continuation.

While I don't believe this to be true, I hope all of those fans graduated from ISU. You wouldn't want a bunch of uneducated bandwagon fans filling up JTS.

Interesting recruit's perspective on the ISU v Iowa series continuation.

ISU does fill the stadium for UNI, but what percentage of the crowd is wearing purple? Which two of the Texas Tech, Nebraska, and Utah games are you banking on being sellouts? Nebraksa seems like the obvious first choice.

    Recruiting Impacts of Conference Expansion

That perception is not limited to Iowa and NU fans. That's how how Texas fans and college football fans around the nation view it (outside of the remaining 9 teams' fans in the conference, including Oklahoma). Texas is the clear puppetmaster. After Nebraska and Colorado leave, what great...

    Recruiting Impacts of Conference Expansion

I never said the talent was better than the eastern part of the Big Ten, nor did I imply it. I said it would help the teams in the west side, with additional recruiting areas.

    Recruiting Impacts of Conference Expansion

I hadn’t thought of that, but I certainly can’t find any holes in it. If the divisions end up being Iowa/Wisc/Neb vs. PSU/OSU/Mich, that could certainly help the west schools become bigger powers. There is a lot more FB talent in KC and STL than Iowa and Nebraska.

Penn State in the western division?

It seems like most of the concern with PSU potentially being in the western division is due to travel. I was reading a thread on a PSU board and thought more about the travel, and started to think it's a moot point. Here's what I posted: If PSU and NU are in opposite divisions and become...

B10 Divisions - OSU and UM in the same division?

OSU/UM is the biggest rivalry in the Big Ten. I think they stay in the same division to not cheapen it by risking the possibility of a rematch. The Big 12 ruined NU/OU, the Big Ten is run too well to make the same mistake.
