The spreadsheet still works fairly easily. I just have them all at DNP for now so they have 0 place points. Put in the number of advancements, which right now is 0 if they lost right away or got a bye then lost, 1 if they won then got beat, or 2 if they won twice or got a bye then win. Then...

Not until he wins the next match. If you win the match after the bye you get an advancement point for the match that you won plus the bye. So a bye followed by a win on the winners side is 2 points and a bye followed by a win on the back side is 1.
