Post season tourney or not, Fran has this team and the future headed in the right direction. They fight hard, don't give up and play through adversity pretty well. Needs more shooters and a good big presence.

Quite honestly I would rather have Bradley out of PSU than anyone from Nebby. Look at what PSU's defenses have done over the years, not just this year either. I don't have the facts, but I am guessing they would stack up quite favorably or would even be better than Nebby's almost every year.

By my count we had roughly 6 guys on offense and 5 or 6 on defense that had enough quality playing time to be considered experienced. A few plays here or there or even enough to be most of a couple of games is not enough quality game time experience in D1 football in the Big Ten. By this count...

The following all had playing time this year, some due to need, some due to injury, etc. but none of them with very much playing time in the past. I realize some of them were either hurt in the past or are themselves young, but were playing vital minutes this year without much prior experience...

It is/was a rebuilding year and yes we are inexperienced, but not necessarily young. We unfortunately are playing a lot of seniors with little experience, but won't be back next year. We could have been young with similar results if we would have played some younger guys more often.
