Yeah, to put a bit of perspective on Petras' games, he probably had the best field position of any other QB. Not sure where to look it up, though. Just trying to make sense of what I saw.

Yup, the majority of Petras' passes were on the money. Not a lot of touch on the ball for a few of the ones that could have been caught. Not everyone can be on all the time, though. That said, by far his best game this year.

I'd say even if Iowa loses to NE (which is unlikely) your scenarios will hold. With that said, hopefully our next year QB will be a more accurate passer earlier in the season and a lot more mobile.

So, if they are paid, can we boo bad plays, now?

I wasn't necessarily rooting for Charlie, but I agree with everything else. Football is changing.

I felt that our D kept Jones in front of them as much as possible and let him have his stats. He got 104 yds. but no TDs.

Our Offense would do better to take a knee three times then punt a few series in a row. Could use more time up. ;-)

I agree with this. The O is not good at running the clock. We need a few first downs.
