There's not a whole lot to dislike about Fran in a couple of weeks... One factor in kids not wanting to be here could be the toxic environment that they see from the fans. They probably pay more attention to these boards than anyone- and it would be easy to see them disheartened by the way...

Agree 100%. This is a good man who deserves our respect- as a man. We can easily poke holes in what he did/didn't do as our coach - but there is no reason to pile on personally. We've got our coach and we're behind him - let's show Coach McCaffery we have some class.

I think Gatens benefits, without question. He was completely stifled in Lickliter's system. Get him away from ball screens in a more open court, and he could do quite well. I'd love to see a ball-handler come along and let Cully play the two- ultimately, I don't think Cully has the patience...
