Grant Bowen. From article:

The 6-foot-4, 205-pounder is a two-way star for Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Elmhurst, Ill., where he possesses almost identical skills to his father but displays them on both sides of the ball. While he hasn't yet been ranked or rated by the major recruiting sites, he has garnered interest outside of Iowa, including offers from Big Ten foes Illinois, Northwestern, and Purdue.

Honestly don't care about stars. Being Matt's kid tells me all I need to know about having what it takes to be a Hawkeye and being the kind of individual were looking for. Hope we land this guy., but 2028 is a long ways away.

Matt is occasionally on the radio and does a great job of breaking down X's and O's.

Those teams that transitioned from Fry to Ferentz actually had some impressive top end talent. Bowen, Anthony Herron, Aaron Kampman and Ladell Betts all had respectable NFL careers. But man did it drop off quickly after that (until Kirk and Bret were able to retool). That 1999 team, even with the aforementioned future NFL'ers, probably didn't have a dozen players who belonged in a B1G two-deep.
