We have problems in the half-court game and that is what the final minutes of the game are all about. Ii's like riding a runaway horse and all at once it is told to walk. Horse gets confused and can't execute properly. Please, more half-court practice!
This particular call may require a review of how to make a correct call. With so many questionable calls perhaps they should be reviewable. I know, another slowing down of he game but with few exceptions these are game-changing calls.
It looks to me like White is playing with a lack of confidence. If this team is going to complete the season with a winning attitude White will need to fnd his game. I don't know what has happened to him but he is not the same high-energy player that started the season.
I agree. He was wailing and flailing his arms all over and around Marble. He didn't get by with this in the game at OSU. after that game Motta talked to them about being tough and since they have promptly beat up an both Wisconsin and Iowa. Motta's philosophy is the same as Izzo's. Rough the...
Our point guard should be leading by putting Marble or White in position to make a play instead,he took it upon himself to drive and get rejected by Wisconsin's bigs. When he did get fouled he missed both freethrows. It comes down to knowing your strengths playing to them.
To bad it's being considered for abandonment from the Olympics. Can't believe it is not as popular as some of the other sports. Maybe it's an attendance/money thing.
Iowa would be in the tournament if they hadn't done the same thing. That is, miss free throws in late minutes of the games. It happened almost ever time we lost.
