    LeVar to Michigan State

No I don't see that happening. If Fitz starts winning at MSU, which you know will happen, Woods will then get a head coaching job somewhere else (not Iowa). This one hurts.

    LeVar to Michigan State

Why is Wallace getting such favorable treatment??? WHY.

    LeVar to Michigan State

OUCH. Why does Ferentz favor Wallace over Woods? I don't get it. Woods is one of the best young coaches in the country.

    Moore Gone at Michigan....

Now they are reporting that the woman having the affair with Moore was on the athletic department staff and received huge, huge salary raises the past 2 years. If this was a cover up, heads are gonna roll. Harbaugh, Mr. holier than thou, ran a pretty sleazy organization it appears. If you do a...

    Moore Gone at Michigan....

For what it is worth, I think Campbell made the right choice. It's really gonna get weird in Ann Arbor as this investigation unfolds. All the weirdness at Penn State (and there was a lot) appears to be history, at least for now. It is amazing what big time college football has become. Woody...

Nashville local media on Vanderbilt playing Iowa

This is great. Keep it coming. My analysis is that Vandy's offense is very, very good but their defense is very average. I think we can run and pass on them. It will be an interesting game. I like that Iowa is the underdog. It is one of the better bowl games in one of the nicest areas. It...

Fry's Forecast Fizzled: KF Confirms He Will Be Back in '26.

I think the mystery candidate was Pat Fitzgerald. Obviously, he was good enough for Michigan State, a program over the years that has been similar to Iowa's.

    A Cautionary Tale

Some observations at the end of the 2025 regular season for Iowa: 1. The stability of the coaching staff at Iowa continues to pay off. Many recruits are attracted to that stability. It is showing up in Iowa's recruiting. we need to keep Ferentz and Parker at the helm. 2. Comparing Iowa to...

Records for the Fry-Ferentz Era at Iowa

Agree with this. 12 makes no sense at all, other than it was a number bigger than 2 or 4.

Records for the Fry-Ferentz Era at Iowa

That is really the question, isn't it? Back when Hayden was coaching, there were about 12 bowls, and 24 bids, give or take. The problem with the current playoff system is that there are only 12 openings, but really 9 when you consider that a bid must be given to the group of 5 (what a joke)...

DJ Vonnahme answers the call, this time in Iowa City

He's gonna be a great tight end at Iowa.

Records for the Fry-Ferentz Era at Iowa

Another season has come and gone. I was there every season starting in 1961, and then as a young man I saw an intense coach in 1979 at the age of 47 take over the Iowa program. His name was Hayden Fry, and no one knew much about him, except for a wise old owl named Bump Elliott. Iowa was the...

    More Nebbie Dysfunction

Do you think Rhule was a serious candidate at Penn State?

Active NFL Players By B1G Team

Very impressive. I'm sure potential recruits are aware of Iowa's record getting players paid in the NFL.

Harding and Freeman had good days today

The whole problem with Fran's teams is that they didn't defend. Period. You keep talking about how many points these guys are scoring. Scoring was never the problem. Ben's teams play defense. If you don't defend, you don't play. Far superior coach, in my opinion.
