Georgia winning would prevent the LSU rematch. Only two teams per conference can go into BCS games. Georgia winning would automatically lock them in so either LSU or Bama would be left out.

Yep...there's a loophole that if GA wins, the SEC will get 3 teams in the BCS.

Pretty sure that even though Georgia would get the automatic bid, LSU and Alabama would still play in the NC game due to their #1 and #2 BCS rankings after today. This would be the only way that 3 teams from the same conference could get in.

Here is my take. I believe the voters from the other conferences will vote to try to get OSU into the title game if they beat OU and LSU loses to UGA.

There is just too much money involved. They will rubber stamp the rematch if LSU wins, but they will try to do what they can to stop three teams from the same conference going to BCS Bowls.
