Pat Angerer in introductions tonight

Oh. Hmmm. I could see how that might pose a problem. When did he break it? He kicked a little azz in NE, with that record return once.

Last November. Apparently it was a neck injury not a back injury, but he messed up a disc pretty bad. You can see at the 20-second mark his helmet gets hit and his head compresses. He announced his retirement when the lockout ended.

I loved when he got interviewed and they asked what he would do when he graduated or if he didn't play f-ball. His answer: Pry coach kids, but idk, I cuss way too much for that....
I think someone asked him about hunting one time, and he said, "No, I'm too stupid to hold a gun." Hilarious.

hobbs when he started for ne and philly always said his high school. i never saw a game where he said isu. i am not a fan of his because if you arent willing to say a schools name you werent much of a team player in my opinion. but i like angerer's comment it is funny.

You guys that are ripping him for saying something funny need to lighten up. He's a bright spot in a bucket of crap. And he's s GREAT Hawkeye! Chill out

That's not a fair assessment. His high school team is still a team. Just because he's maybe got more pride for his high school than his college doesn't make him a me-first guy.

I think it is funny when they throw something in there to catch people off-guard.
You are watching and kind of paying attention and then you hear them say something weird and you are like "wait... what did he just say? Rewind it."

However, Jared Allen's into probably takes the cake saying he is from some Culinary school.

Some other guy last week said he was from some Middle-school.

That's just weird.

I find it pretty funny but i think its good for the program if he says he is from the university of Iowa

Yeah, kinda surprised they let the Dolts saying anything but "sorry" right now. The NFL needs to find ways to flex the schedule so they don't end up with dog teams in these national games.

I heard ISU's A-Rob signed with the Cedar Rapids arena team last week. He will probably start there, so they got that going for them. I think they make 250 a game plus a 50 dollar win bonus.

Hobbs never said, "Ellis Hobbs, Iowa State University" because he didn't graduate from there...If I remember correctly he has since graduated, but due to his injuries he hasn't been able to get back onto a team and on the field to say it.
