Shonn Greene is having a horrible game

Only 5 carries and has been on the bench alot after putting it on the ground early. Then just dropped a wide open pass in the flat on a crucial drive in the 4th. Hope he cleans it up but the fumbling is becoming a serious problem.

He's having a bad game, but so is the entire Jet offense. Five first downs, and haven't converted a third down all game. Doesn't look like they're going to get a chance either.

Everyone is having a bad game. It doesnt help that the jets have not given him any reps to get going.

Shonn will be great for the jets once LT is worn out.

This game was always going to be a defensive battle. Even though Baltimore has fallen off a touch defensively they are still good against the run and sanchez can't throw down field so the ravens don't have to respect that at all...

As mentioned, it wasn't just him, but it's a toss-up between him and Sanchez as the most concerning on offense. Greene looked totally disengaged, and could NOT hold on to the ball.

With all of that though, I think I am (as a Jet fan) the most concerned with Cromartie. They picked on him all night. Too many damn pass interference/holding penalties. He's going to have to improve greatly, because nobody is going to throw to the other side.

Yeah, I needed two points out of him in fantasy to win my game. He got me negative one. Nice. Haha. Amazing that I was in the game considering my starting QB hung a 0 on the board.

I want to like the Jets because of Greene, but their offense is way too gimicky. They shift like 8 times on a dive play. Stop trying to always outsmart the defense, line up and hit somebody. It looks like they are outthinking themselves.

OK, Coach Lombardi, whatever you say.
:p

It doesn't help when your playing the best run D in the NFL. Baltimore makes just about everyone's O look like scrubs...

Call it like I see it. For Peyton Manning it works, for little Schott and dirty Sanchez it does not.

did you not see the stupid grin smiliey I deployed?? c'mon, boat, I was just poking you; I totally agree with your previous post. :)

After a lot of angst I switched out Shonn in my lineup for Cedric Benson at the last minute. Good call this week. Hopefully he can get things set right and win back ol' Rex's favor. One thing was clear, if Shonn disappoints LT still has enough in his legs to take away a significant number of carries.

Green got me -1 pt. and Kaeding got me 2 points. I was winning the week comfortably, but my Hawkeyes let me down. I've got Greene riding the pine this next week.

A couple of FF pointers-

-Never start anybody vs. the Ravens
-If you drafted Mark Sanchez as one of your QB's just quit your league now
