Vintage, I'd be glad to take 3 touchdowns and ISU(since you say "minimum" of a 17 point win, you should feel you have better than a 50/50 shot with such a spread).
Shall we place a gentleman's bet under those conditions. How about....if I win, you put Pooker/TH on "ignore" for 6 months....and if you win, I'll take them off of it for at least the same length of time? =)

I have no problem rooting for ISU the rest of the way. That said, I think they're looking at a 3-9 or 2-10 season if they don't win next week.

I will gladly wager, AZCyclone, but with different stakes: if I win, you have to faithfully watch and summarize "Countdown" with Keith Olbermann EVERY NIGHT FOR ONE ENTIRE MONTH and I have to do the same with ben gleck on faux.

I want the clowns to NOW beat Texas, Oklahoma, and Nebraska...ThAT would drop each of them below us in the rankings...easy as that. I want every team ahead of us to lose...I will even take the clowns playing each of these teams to a tie and making the other team beat them in OT...although I don't know if that would be enough for the voters to drop any of these teams. They would just write it off as a bad day. We do know that these three teams (OK, TX, and NE play each other so maybe they can all beat each other...that also would be enough for us to pass them ).
But it would be ok with me to see the clowns beat TX and or OK...

Ok...but instead of Beck, who I consider a bit of a loon, I'm gonna substitute O'Reilly as your punishment. A month of Olbermann is...well..terrifiying. I usually take him only in 5 minute doses. But I will take that bet...as long as you take on O'Reilly as your consequence.

I dont think its as much as an obsession as it is we really dont care what happens to them. IF they win good for them, if they lose out even better.

If the win over Iowa State was tight then I would think that the clowns record for the season would be more important....with the fact that it was a 28 point win I do not think it will come in to play much. We just gotta keep taking care of business. Keep up the pace Hawkeyes!
