Blatantly lying about not ever releasing during the season was funny when they did it with Kirk.

I didn’t like how he said if Fran serves his contract out we will have some really good years and some not so good years. I understand that’s probabaly realistic, but shouldn’t we strive for a consistent winner?

In Frans defense here.
He will run a clean program and will not cheat.

He’s not going to bring in questionable people.
He will graduate his guys.

Despite what people think, he does recruit hard. See him sitting alone watching Swanigan play all alone ( I think this is where he could use new Asst blood to help him )

All of the above make things way more challenging for him than other schools in the area. Remember that college basketball is a slime pit. Look no further than tomorrow nights opponent.

Like how Fran has tried to do things here. Wish recruiting guards and D x and o’s would change.
 


Here's how much of a dolt Barta is. Does anyone know what the rationale is for us extending Franimal? Bo Ryan coached for 12 years at Wisconsin, and only left because of his sexcapades (so I've been told). In his 12 years Bo's worst finish his worst was tied for 4th in the conference and he made the NCAA tournament EVERY SINGLE YEAR he was there. Our expectations are those of losers.

BTW no surprise Barta can't do math. McCaffrey hasn't averaged 22 W's per year he's only averaged 18. NO wonder we can't trust Gary Barta he's a math idiot. Obviously he wasn't educated in Iowa, or maybe he was! 2nd there so what...I thought Fran was all in. What "other opportunities" are we talking about Siena, some other bottom dwelling team? Were they going to offer $2.5M/yr. and a $10M buyout? Doubtful! Or was it one of the other S Bag power 5 programs that are pitiful. This is a freaking joke.

And I don't care if a single player graduates. No one cared if I graduated except myself and my parents. Honest question, how many of you here cared if I graduated. Answer, zero.

What he said! Don't forget Gary stating that Fran has won an average of 22 games/yr. Did he think we wouldn't go out and look?! Oh wait those of us that did can do math it actually comes up to only 18 wins/yr. Gary 18! You idiot Barta!

Ok it is at other institutions because other Universities that have won more games than we have have = Graduation rates. I'm not saying recruit guys with video tapes of them hitting women I would have a problem with that....but there are a TON of kids that are decent students. The graduation argument is a red herring.
