Iowa vs Missouri State 7:00

Iowa will host Missouri State at 7:00 tonight 3/16 in the first round of the W. NIT. Tickets are $10 for adults and free for youth. The game will be televised on btn plus. They last met in 2012, Iowa won big 97-43.

There are a few records to watch.

Ally Disterhoft is 20 points from breaking the all time scoring record.

Megan Gustafson has set the Sophomore scoring record with 550 points. She has 297 rebounds, 4 more breaks the sophomore record, 10 more breaks the all time season record set by Amy Herrig.

Kathleen Doyle needs 12 assists to break the freshman record of 136 set by Sam Logic. She reminds me so much of Sam!

I know you know it's Megan Gustafson, but we all have Disterhoft and the scoring record on our minds. Usually I think records come and go, But Ally Disterhoft has really set such a high standard as a student/athlete that I really hope she gets the record as testament to her hard work. It will be nice to see this team healthy again (except for Tania) and hopefully win several games before we close the season

A lot of records are falling or are going to fall and that's a testament to the talent that's on this team. Kathleen Doyle is a stud! Lol Another Sam Logic in the making for sure. I'm hoping so much that Ally gets the record and I think Megan may break it her senior year. I saw that Tania is walking around without crutches. Just a leg brace. It sure would be nice to get off to a fast start and only have about 10 turnovers this game. Yes it would be nice to be in control the WHOLE game. I'll be at the game thank goodness or I wouldn't get to see it! Go Hawks!
