so much for "we beat PITT"

UNC is beating PITT and its not really that close. Pitt can not over come the UNC defense. And UNC is playing very good pass defense. UNC also is not strugling with pitt's defense either.

Pitt is showing signs of life on offense. That last drive looked better. Still down 23-13 with 1:00 left in 3rd qtr and getting the ball back on their own 25 yard line after forcing a UNC punt.

This game is far from over. The 4th qtr party is coming up. For those that don't know, Pitt sprays water and gets rowdy to get pumped up before the start of every 4th qtr.

Maybe they should do the party thing before the game.

If they need to do it before the game they have bigger problems.

Another fake punt and Pitt gets the first down. Before the play took off you could clearly see Narduzzi say "Go for it". But the offense sputters out again. They really need to keep pounding the rock with James. They keep getting burned when they go away from that.

Welp, too little too late for Pitt. 26-19 is the final. Their offense looked terrible toward the end. They gave up on the run too soon (sound familiar?). NC gifted them some first downs with penalties on the Pitt's last drive.

I love the ADHD, now is always...this is the "best ever"...one win/loss equals totality...shallowness that seems so common. One game does not a season make (unless you're ISU)

Homework assignment: research and understand the term, "body of work".

Pitt losing or winning really does nothing for Iowa's big picture. 13-0 and playoffs or not 13-0 and a different bowl. That's the bottom line. Pitt has no say in that.

This is correct. I wish people would stop obsessing over "strength of schedule" as this has absolutely ZERO bearing on Iowa.

Who cares, we win out and we are in no matter what Pitt does or does not do. Winning the next 6 games for us is far from a lock.
