We didn't offer the Mr Basketball in IOWA, 3 straight years, (Wyatt Lohaus
& Jeremy Morgan), whose teams won UPTEEN straight 4A championships in Iowa,
but we had a scholarship available for a guard from
Wisconsin, who won several.......ahhh, what's??
He won several games of horse, over noon hour?

And we seemed to have a scholarship available for a well
travelled, JC guard, who can't really shoot?

Yeah, that's the ticket........Now, I got it. Yeah, right.

Iowa is in the same spot if they sign a Lohaus and Morgan as they are with a Dickerson and Ellingson.......that is the problem, they need to be getting much better players than those 4.

Sorry, Dean, but you couldn't be more wrong. How good was Iowa when we had a Marble back in the '80's? And how good was it last year with a Marble? Top 10 ranking ring a bell? Okay. Now, how good was Iowa when we had a Lohaus back in the '80's? And how good are they now without a Lohaus or a Marble?

Morgan and Lohaus aren't B1G basketball players. Tired of hearing this. Every guard on Iowa are better than those 2. A lot harder to look good at Iowa than Uni. And Morgan looks awful right now.

If we had done anything offensively against UNI we would've beaten them by 12 we dominated them in the first half. We looked listless for some reason in the 2nd half the other night. Not sure about our conditioning.

Arguments like this make no sense at all. Don't you think it was UNI's defense that cause the poor shooting? Also I believe dominated is a stretch.

UNI's defense contributed to the poor second half. But we've seen enough of this team missing wide open shots to know that they are pretty good and making themselves look bad, too.

Morgan had more points than Jok in the game in Des Moines.
Wyatt Lohaus would be a HELLUVA back-up Point guard for Mike Gesell.
Clearly, BOTH players are better than anyone in our freshman class, for 2014.
Anyone with even an Ounce of basketball sense knows this is true.

It's something we all will from here on, just know was a MISS, well two misses.
It happens, but really time will tell how much it ends up costing IOWA and Fran.

Apparently, 'BoSker' doesn't realize how idiotic that statement sounds.

By 'not being BigTen' players, Mssrs Lohaus and Morgan joined a
Top 25 team, instead of being relegated to being 'BigTen player.

Too Rich in irony, here, really. LMAO

You live in a fantasy world. It wasn't UNI's defense. Iowa can only shoot the ball well in practice.

Id take Morgan but he's not a difference maker either way. Fran had to choose between him and Jok, every one here was pretty excited about Jok even though most coaches weren't.

Neithern Lohaus or Ellingson are big ten players.

Dickerson has way more potential than any of the others in question, I get why we took him whether or not he becomes any good will be determined.

Remember Washpun was just an athletic guy without refinement at one point too.

No. It wasn't really UNI's defense. Iowa can't make shots right now. But I agree that dominated is a stretch.

No. It made perfect sense at the time.

JO was by far the higher rated prospect with interest and offers from other big ten schools, Washpun had no interest from any major schools and would be at Missouri state had Martin not been given the UT job.

Their progressions took opposite paths.

Also, was Washpun eligible right away? I was thinking he was late in getting a passing test score or something...could be wrong on this.

And the fact that they are a top 25 team has little to do with them.

Lohaus is the third best PG on his team.

LOL......Wyatt Lohaus won 3 straight State Championships at IC West.
Eveyone knows he is a Winner. He's already seeing A LOT of quality time on a TOP 25 team.
ANYONE who CANNOT see what a Big, Big miss that not getting
Lohaus is, will be drunk for the next 4 winters, in Iowa.

Ellingson or Lohaus ??? LMAO...........they're not in the same ballpark.
Lohaus would have CLEARLY been the gem of our Recruiting class.
Prove me wrong, Fran. But, it won't happen.
