Though admittedly my knowledge on the subject is cursory, I believe Iowa presently has struggled a score plus ten to win said title.
Alford won the Big Ten twice, n00b.

Have you watched any Indiana basketball games at all? Guy is always out on the floor, especially when the opponent is playing offense of his end of the floor. It's a tactic, a cheap one at that. It narrows the space opponents have to run plays. The B1G is partly at fault in that no one has done a thing to stop his crap.

He is a lunatic along the bench, clapping madly like a parent who never played sports living vicariously through his 10-year-old child in rec basketball, and aggressively walking along the out of bounds marker from the corner of the floor up to and beyond the scorer's table. And the refs let him get away with it. Look into his eyes; they're crazed.
He's a time bomb waiting to go off.

If so, why, at my last embarkment to Carver-Hawkeye Arena, did they fail to hang the appropriate standard from the structure's rafters?

Oh please. This bit was tired back when Alf was run out of town just a step in front of a mob with pitchforks.
But he does NOT have my respect
Again, if your team gets the automatic berth, you won your conference. See, e.g., Liberty. How did that mob end up working out, by the way?
Why would anyone bring up Alfraud in an Iowa thread? That dude is a repulsive human being who ran this program into the ground. Fran has it back on track and I couldnt be happier about the direction of the program. And btw, how many NCAA tourney games did the Fraud win while he was here? All we did was win first round games EVERY year before his hairness took the reigns and promised to take us to the next level. Pierre Pierce, Northwestern, Northwestern State, Tonya, all disgraces!
Someone ban this clown. PLEASE.
First off, this is a Crean thread, not an Iowa thread. Second, leave the guy's wife out of it. Pukes like you made Lute and his wife feel unwelcome in Iowa City and frankly it would be fitting if Iowa never won another Big Ten title again.
This is what you wanted when you brought up Alford in this thread. You opened this can of worms so now you will have to live with it. I have no idea why Tonya was mentioned but again...you took the thread in this direction so don't get up on your soap box now.

Yeah, because this is a thread in THE IOWA BASKETBALL FORUM about INDIANA. If Crean leaves Indiana in the next 2-3 years, I have to think Alford is a candidate for the job. Personally, I don't want to face him in conference play and I'd rather see Indiana hire some bust and return to the crappiness they had attained a few years ago.
Well, he married a Harbaugh, what relevance this has to do with this thread I am not sure.
