I thought this would be a great place to post your favorite bricks of the season

There are so many great moments to chose from but I think the sequence from the Purdue game where Marble threw up a brick, Gesell drew nothing but iron and then Marble capped it off with his second clank of the possession. 3 bricks for the price of 1

What's your favorite?
 






I liked the one during the Ohio State game where Marble bricked 3 shots in one possession all by himself.

I don't see a problem with it. This team could build a couple dozen houses that the big bad wolf couldn't blow down.

Seriously, they were 5-35 at one point. That's just ******* terrible, and it's even more pathetic that while that isn't the norm, it's well within reason to think they might shoot THAT poorly.

The point is this. We all know Iowa is NOT shooting well. They pretty much suck. We also know they really have been poor beyond 3 point... especially JO, McCabe and others.

Even at times Iowa loses games at the foul line, "the frickin' free throw line when Iowa is OK and better shooting free throws.

So we all know Iowa can't shoot. Why dwell on it? Forget about it.

Yes, let's all talk about rainbows and unicorns and lollipops and about how we are going to compete for the NIT championship! Yippie! A must win road game and our team laid the biggest turd of the season, I expect fans to be a little upset.

You can't get too mad, the dude's got a point. Both teams combined shot something like 44 of 124 or something like that.

That many bricks is worth at least a four-bed, three-bath ranch with a three-car garage, bra.

Not your typical brick, but...

#1--Bucket where White put back in an opponent's shot, and
#2--Woody trying to do a hook shot I believe today, didn't put forth any jumping effort into it, and promptly got it swatted back....by another freshman.

Ummm....were you a school playground "run to the teacher and tattle" type? C'mon man, the beauty of this board is you can discuss the downs as well as the ups.
 


My knee jerk reaction was to go with the Marble-Gesell-Marble triple threat masterpiece but after thinking about it my favorite was from the first half when Marble clanked an uncontested layup.
