PSU scores 36 points and wins... that is ridiculous. Big 10 basketball sucks.

I'll continue to say that this type of basketball is not good for the conference. I understand this game is an oddity as far as how low the score is, but just like when Iowa beat Michigan St. with Lickliter, it's not good for the conference. What kid in their right mind would want to play for Wisconsin. I understand they have to play that way, because they really don't get top flight players, so they make every game a slugfest and muck it up. They get away with more than any team I have seen. As I was saying though, when one of your top teams in your conference, who gets national attention, plays that style of ball, I just don't think it's a great image for the conference.
There is probably a reason that Vander Blue changed his commitment to Marquette and that they lost out on their top rated prospect going to North Carolina. Heck, those kids probably don't want to play slow mud thucking ball. The day Wisconsin is back near the bottom of the league, which is where they were forever pre 2000's, the Big Ten will be a better conference. Just my opinion and I'm sure plenty on here will disagree, but that's o.k.
Oh, and as far as some people thinking they will be a front runner in this conference next year, I say pass what your smoking. They lose Nankivil, Leur and Tim Jarmusz. Yes they return Jordan Taylor, but they lose a ton in those players. Jordan is going to have to go Andre Woolridge (senior year) and lead the league in scoring and assist's imo to put them at the top of the conference next year.

I agree Patrick. That game was flat out terrible to watch. This actually gives me even more hope (had a ton already) that Fran is going to get it done at Iowa. Once a few more pieces are in place, I don't think teams like Wisky, PSU, NW and to some extent MSU will be able to hang with Iowa.

Also, if you think I'm just a delusional Iowa fan when it comes to my thoughts on Wisconsin basketball, take a look at their own fans and what they are saying. Echoing basically what I talked about in my previous post.

Wisconsin's turtle offense is the worst thing to hit college BB outside of everyone with a pulse thinking they can go pro early.
Way back in 2000 they made the Final 4 and to this day that was the worst Final 4 team I've ever seen.
Since then its been the same deal with this program. Solid regular season followed by a quick NCAA exit. They don't have the talent to play real BB so they dumb the game down and when they run into real talent they get beat.
