Dude ... this is exactly the kind of offense that Iowa actually prepares very well for. We struggle against quarterbacks that can scramble and throw the ball accurately. But pure running quarterbacks play right into our scheme (see Juice Williams and Illinois in 2007, Josh Nesbitt and Georgia Tech at the Orange Bowl, Denard Robinson this year).

Iowa's defense will play fine tomorrow. But I expect their defense to give us a lot of trouble by a) Having Dennard play lock down D on Marvin and b) Loading the box against Coker. We need CJ, Keenan, and KMM to step up big tomorrow if we want to win.

Lol that's actually a good attitude to have. I'm just worried that our offense will force things to much with marvin/coker and put our defenses in short fields.

If Iowa can survive the first quarter, we'll be fine. But if we get in a big hole to begin with (14-0 or greater), I think it's game over.

TMart is terrible. Stop Burkhead and you win easy down there. Their defense is the most overrated in the Big 10. Look what Wisky, Michigan, NW did to them.

Run the ball right at them, dont let them do the same. I know their "pass D" is good, but dont let that fool you. People run against Nebraska, keeping their passing numbers down. Iowa should be successful running/throwing the ball, especially off play action.

it is actually a good match up defensively for Iowa. Martinez tends to scramble to the right, which is right at Binns.If we can eliminate the inside runs, Nebraska will turn the ball over and Iowa will win.

I see a game similar to the Penn St. game. Nebraska will win it ugly, something like 13-3 or 17-6.

Haven't said this all year, but I think this game come down to how well our offense executes. I actually think our defense will be okay. If we can move down the field and score on our first drive, we've got something to look forward to.
