I kinda like the idea of inviting a kid from the hospital ward along with a famous celebrity. I thought Ashton Kutcher did a great job in 2021. Maybe invite him back for an encore. Team him up with the kids. That would be great.

I'm pretty sure I've heard the name Dyson Daniels and Jalen Wilson.

There's limited, but growing numbers of Hawk fans in St. Louis.
When I went to Iowa, there were very few Missourians. Very few St. Louisans. They're doing a much better job of marketing in this town. I've supplied two Missouri Hawkeyes. Each has friends they met IN Iowa, but live in St. Louis.

But, yes....
I am madly writing emails suggesting a mascot exchange for a game or two with Atlanta.
I figure we send Herky down there and he can teach them "In Heaven There Is No Beer"
My ultimate goal is for that to become tradition at all ATL Hawks, Battlehawks, Blackhawks, and Seahawks games.

A. I am almost certain this is ESPN's decision 100%. They may ask for Iowa's assistance in getting the person, and perhaps Iowa can make suggestions, but Game Day does not take content directives from the host school. No way.

B. The rumors/scuttle about CC and Iowa not being on good terms are unfounded. Her boyfriend hates Iowa, of course, and she has to walk a delicate line in that regard, but she knows how important Iowa and the Iowa fanbase have been to her rise. If she was asked and available I am sure she would do it.

Like I said, it's just my opinion. I mean it's UI's property they are on. Idk why if the AD doesn't want the chaos of a particular person they couldn't influence the decision.

I'm not saying CC and Iowa are on bad terms. I'm saying she puts in little (or no) effort to shout out or promote the Hawks. Not even a "Go Hawks" on game day. No congrats for the men's Elite 8 run... just crickets. She isn't walking a delicate line...she's choosing to be firmly on the McCaffery side of that line.
