I received a message on Youtube saying "check out my highlight video" and while I don't normally watch these, I decided to for some reason. All I know about the guy is that he goes to De La Salle and his name is Thomas McDonald. I don't know what to take of this video so what are your guys' opinions?

Again, this was randomly sent to me.

I can prove to you I don't know this kid.
I am a senior right now in the Cedar Rapids area. I've never even heard of this school before or heard the name.
I am going to Iowa next year.
I am not really impressed with what I see but he is only a sophomore (I did my research right after posting)
And finally Rivals.com has him listed from California. I don't know how I would meet a sophomore hs student that far away.
Also, I can copy/paste the message here if you want. I was just sharing what I received

First, De La Salle is a HUGE football school, from up near San Fran IIRC, they set the national record with something like 151 straight wins in football.

Second, it looks to me like that can't be varsity competition the kid is playing against. Rivals lists him at 5'6. Considering that, it didn't look like anyone else in that video could have been much over 6'3. My sons 8th grade team looks to have more size than those kids. Maybe JV?

I'm guessing sophomore team. and I also noticed he is listed at 5'6. Way too small IMO
