What is everyone's tallies for watching " THE CATCH" over and over ??

I swear on Sunday morning it seemed like there was a million different videos available to scroll through. From every possible angle you could imagine.

But I think we got to come up with a name that every Iowa fan would recognize. You know like "Tate to Holloway" or "seven got six". Here are some options

"The Big House catch"
"Brown to Vanderzee"
"The Michigan Karma catch"
"The Herky goes nuts on the sidelines" catch

I am sure somebody can come up with something better.

Yah.....we already have "The Catch".
I still think that should have been called The Tsunami (all away to Halloway).
But, I guess....too soon. Cause, you know...the deadly tsunami.

To be fair, it was as much a throw as it was a catch. Couldn't have been much better.

I dunno..."From Hank to Z"....something like that.
B to Z?

I don't like this karma thing.
We have nothing to do with WMU. The Hawks, however they did it, won it. They needed no help from the Gods.

Anybody see the video of the dude....the Iowa fan right down on near the field during that catch? He was standing in an aisle right in front of like a gate that opened onto the field. Just going nuts right where the players were celebrating. High fiving them and going haywire.
I dunno how he kept his composure while still going nuts. I would have wound up in cuffs for jumping on to the field. Then he politely pulled the gate back closed when it swung open.

I saw him live....then I saw a video zeroed in on him. No way I don't jump into that fray. Dude is legend.

I saw that on a Facebook reel. He is Jaylen Watson's dad. That's why he had a #3 jersey on. Thought it was pretty cool.

The Gods were with Iowa this game. Dink and Dunk passes short of first down yardage is not a recipe that usually leads to wins and with only one time out to burn in that last two minutes.

Iowa outcoached and out played Michigan when it counted. Stop being negative and give the players and the staff credit. We played chess and they tried to brute force checkers, and it worked.

Your team beat another team that should've demolished Iowa on paper, absolutely fair and square. Stop with the goddamn "we got lucky" bullshit. There's no luck. You either score more points than your opponent or you don't.

Coaching, discipline, and football IQ are just as much a part of football ability as a 4.3 40 or squatting 600 lbs. Michigan committing stupid penalties isn't luck for us...it's lack of football skill for them in an area we excel. Lots of Wittingham's decisions were dumb. That's not luck, it's lack of football skill where our staff excels.

I swear to god if you keep coming on HN just to harsh the mellow about KF and the Hawks anytime something good happens you're going to be the first ban hammer I've ever given out for anything other than breaking rules. Do you know how impossibly hard it is to get banned on this site? It isn't just criticism from you...you just have to come post little digs and negative shit about KF and the Hawks even when good things happen. You can't resist it.

If someone gave you $999,999 you'd bitch because it wasn't a million.

And before you start wanting to debate with me, save the keystrokes. I ain't responding. Just keep doing what you do if you want, and the next time you go to log on and can't, you'll have your final symbolic retort from me.

Disagree. Brett Favre always said when you have a long field, but time on the clock to just keep making underneath completions and moving the sticks as the D is back and protecting the outs and deep ins. Once you get to mid-field you take your shot down the field. Layer in a dumb penalty from an undisciplined team and you got a shot. The goal in that situation is to get 1-2 legitimate tosses into the endzone that are not Hail Mary's. Iowa executed the 2 minute drill to perfection. Hat is off to Hank and the offense.

Did Western Michigan and its fans even want Iowa to win? I'd think they'd be pulling for Michigan to run the table. The longer Michigan remained undefeated, the longer Western Michigan could draw attention to the fact UM actually has a blemish on its record. And make itself look better for the post-season.

(Never mind. Just checked. Western Michigan lost to Boise St 32-7. They maybe aren't that good. Michigan might not be, either).

Unfortunately we have to be isu and Michigan fans for the rest of the season.

Not me. Iowa controls its own destiny. The math to me is simple: they get to 10-2 they are in the playoffs. 9-3, with this schedule, won't be good enough. I don't think it matters much what our opponents do the rest of the season. The Big10 will get 3 teams in and 10-2 by Iowa will be good enough for 3rd.

What if Ohio State kills Iowa (call it 38-10), but loses to Oregon and Indiana to finish 9-3.

And Oregon only loses one more max, or runs the table from here on - let's say they finish 11-1.

And let's say Indiana only drops one to finish 11-1.

Big Ten get four teams? I think those 3 are above a 10-2 Iowa.

Even if WM didn't lose to Boise St, what advantage would they really have anyway if Michigan ended the season with 2-3 losses? They aren't going to go to the playoffs anyway. It wouldn't help any team unless another p4 team. The NIL has made it so there is such a gap now between p4 and the rest.
