What are my odds?

I'm sure everyone is a little confused about the football season tickets, but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone had thoughts or opinions on my chance of getting season tickets.

I requested 4 tickets on the 50 yard line area, which require a $600 donation per seat. I had season tickets for 4 years prior to last year, but needed to take the year off due to kids activities that wouldn't allow us to attend the games.

Now, I'm trying to get season tickets again and wondering if my 4 years of past season tickets or donation amount would matter or not?

Anyone know how this works?

I would call the University of Iowa ticket office to see if your past years will still count for priority, it may be to late. I have had tickets for (20) years. When they reseated the stadium I was able to get (2) on the east side 40 yard line and (2) on the 35 yard line. Every year I request moving further toward the 50 yard line and have had no luck. That is even after I am a gold level contributor. In the past, I would have said you could have moved around the 30 to 40, but it's crazy this year.

Bottom line: I would try to find out about your previous years priority.

Like the previous poster said I would call the ticket office, but I am pretty sure you would still have those points even though you didn't have tickets last year. And at the very least I would guess you would be at the front of the line of what the ticket office says are 100% new season ticket holders. I would guess that means someone they don't have in the system at all who has never bought tickets before.

You should be fine.
