Week One Games Thread

I have been in the rutgers stadium. Holds about 50K people. We got cheap 50 yd line seats on the home side. The fans there knew nothing about iowa or the big ten.
I don’t ever want to be a fan of a shit team obviously but being able to sit front and center week to week for less than a fifty dollar bill would be awesome

Watching Rutgers get wrecked as 28.5 point favorites brings me a special joy. Watching Deion win a power (whatever number we're choosing this year to pretend any conference other than the B1G matters) week one game does not. Such is the duality of college football.

Imagine being a Rutgers fan taking off work at noon on a Thursday, paying $12 for a seat on the 50 right behind the home bench, thinking you’re going to see the one ass-whoopin’ your team is going to handout all year and then watching them get absolutely wrecked by the worst historical football team in Division 1 history.

Home boo birds out before half. Oof-ta-MAE…

Rutgers - Happless, Fine WR stud.

Minny - a nifty WR/Return man #11 quick feet. Decent QB

Illinois - OLine got pushed around by UAB. I expected better. Decent QB.

Colorado beats GT in Atlanta - surprised

That should’ve been called off at halftime. It was obviously already paid for.

Other than just the face value embarrassment of fireworks after a loss like that, on top of it it shows everyone you thought you were gonna win a blowout at home and were too dumb to just lick your wounds and go home quietly.

You tube tv has all games on. I have three on multi view

I"d forgotten that following 4 games at once is an aquired skill and a perishable skill. I realized that I wasn't follwing any of them

But what was amazing is on two occassions teams scored TDs within seconds of each other.

Lol. Than to top it off, Rutgers set off a planned fireworks show after the game at the stadium.
