It's great to see Spencer finally have a chance to accept the Hodge Trophy. Well earned.
Somewhat surprisingly, he is only the third Hawkeye to win it, joining Metcalf and Ironside.
It's a pretty exclusive award. To put it in perspective, I'd have to go back and verify, but I don't believe Kyle Snyder nor Ed Ruth ever won it, or Jason Nolf.
