Nice comeback! This is a team we beat by 19 back in December. We've both had our ups and downs since then, with the Hawks alternating winning and losing streaks. Hopefully we can turn this around and go on another winning streak.

Feel quite a bit better since lunch !! bad deal is a cant be sick tomorrow Damn 11 am games !!
Looking at the first game vs. OSU we did out rebound them which is nice, had 4 less turnover but scored 9 more points off turnovers and had a big points in the paint edge
Only shot 27.8% from 3 for the game but really well from 2 pt. range and the bench points were 22 to 3.
OSU actually shot 50% for the game from 3.
Could be as simple as we played a game and are used to shooting at the United Center and we can jump on them early. Help if we can out rebound again them and they don't get second chance points. Keep making free throws. Today was good with 21 points of TO's vs. Maryland's 10 and shooting 51% to their 43% and 36 to 24 points in the paint edge.
Keep doing most of the same things and we can take down OSU. The two games were somewhat similar including that OSU did go up 14-2 and we blew by them and today Maryland had a lead and then we blew by them.

I was thinking the same thing how this game resembled rhe OSU game.
We hammered them inside that night and that meant Foulguerias. It would be a good time for him to show up again, or better yet for OSU to focus in him. We have others, like Koch, who have come on strong since that game and hopefully he can be a stealth bomber again tomorrow!
There are some teams you just match up well with, and Nebraska and Ohio St. this year are two of those teams which Iowa is gonna give a good game every time. The Buckeyes don't have a dominant Big, which is key for the Hawks. If the Hawks can neutralize their stud PG, as they did in Iowa City, I think this is Iowa's game. The Bucks wilted when faced with Iowa's in-your-face defense, and while I'm sure they'll have a few new wrinkles, I'm NOT sure OSU has the stones or mental fortitude to handle Iowa's defense for 40 minutes.
I'm hoping now that the pressure is off this Iowa team and they know they're solidly in the Big Dance, they can relax on offense a bit and LET IT FLOW! And Koch, keep shootin' it, brother!
