thread watched?

Can anybody tell me what the thread watched icon means? It's out to the right of the title of a thread, like the 3 pointer thread and it looks like a little bell. If you put your cursor on it, up comes Thread Watched.

It makes me wonder if I've been identified as a closet Cyclone fan or something and if I say something wrong I'll be banned for life.

I did get banned for 24 hours once by Jon Miller.............

ha, I see by posting this thread that little icon is already showing?

It means you either created the thread, commented in the thread, or clicked the "Watch" button at the top. Anytime someone responds to a thread you are "watching" you will get a notification.
