I have no idea what there policies are. All they've cared about was taking Trump out, by impeaching or literally taking him out. Pathetic by both parties.

I hear you, but we aren't voting against Trump out of spite. We (a lot of us now) feel that he is uniquely corrupt, unqualified, and is doing things to make our country weaker. Strange, unwinnable wars that deplete resources/money and raise prices are bad. Tariffs against Canada are stupid and bad. Playing hide and seek with the pedophile Epstein files is bad. Enriching himself and his family by billions when in office is really, really bad. I could go on all day. Trump is anti-democracy. He needs to go. The deficit is skyrocketing under him as well.

I've said this many times. I'd vote for a good democrat OR republican any day over this orange manure bag. I cannot believe how many have been brainwashed by this con.

The cuck republicans in congress may very well pay for their fealty. Good riddance.

I remember when the debt was at 10 trillion and that was alarming. I believe it is now in the range of 38 trillion. I don't even know how we come back from that, TBO. It is a problem, indeed.

TBO, both sides have had people in power with the agenda for themselves and their compadres. That's the issue. There are no more presidents or senators who are battling for the people anymore. It is a true oligarch. Both sides.

People seem to conveniently forget that the gas prices were upwards of $4 and sometimes over pretty much the entire Biden time in office. It was like $2.40 a gal when he took office than spiked up right after, getting over $5.00 for a time in 2022 than went back down to around the $4.60 range. People need to stop acting like it's only been this high since Trump was in office. People drive me nuts.

During Biden, the deficit went up 8.45 trillion. During Trump's second stint, it has gone up 3.1 trillion. Now, obviously the tariffs have contributed to the smaller amount but I'm not stupid enough to not acknowledge that the buck is just being passed to the consumers thru inflation because of the tariffs. So, as you point out, there is collateral damage with the tariffs on products. Companies just don't eat that.

Please consider the global economic disruption of Covid in your analysis. Costs, inflation, and fuel prices were very high worldwide.

Prices came down a great deal in terms of things like energy as time passed, but with the war of choice started in Iran (totally self inflicted) prices have shot up again.

Tariffs, of course, are paid for by the consumer (that's us). Not what people voted for, I'm told.

It's a false equivalency, respectfully.

Comparing Dems and Republicans when discussing Trump is, in my opinion, also a false equivalency. Trump is not a Republican and he is outside the framework of anything I've ever seen.

My issue isn't with traditional Republicans. It's what is currently going on. Hegseth, for example, is in completely over his head. He's a weekend talk show culture warrior. RJK Jr. is an absolute crackpot. We are seeing what turning our backs on competency and normal governance looks like. It looks like failure. And diahrrea. :)

Yet, I feel a lot more comfortable with those you mention above in their roles than a Kamala Harris. We really didn't have a choice.

I do put the global economy in my thoughts. It's always been a global problem. I have never said otherwise. I've actually pointed it out to various people in the past, stating it almost every country. That is also very scary as I don't know how globally we can turn it around or is it going to come to an aned that is not good for all. Prob headed that way.

Let's be honest though, Trump has done more in the first 6 mo of his term than Biden did in his entire term. Acutally, Biden was just a puppet being ran by the other extremists.

Open the borders to levels never seen before. This to establish a stronger voting base.
Moving illegals all over the country to certain areas to boost voting for dems and paying these illegal individuals thousands of dollars when our own legal residents who are suffering don't get shit.
Loosen the voting restrictions so pretty much anybody can vote, especially in certain areas. See CA,
Raise taxes on anything and everything.
Pay the homeless to vote for their party.
Tunnel vision towards Trump for 12 yrs and how to keep or get him out of office. Nobody knows where they stand on issues or what their policies are.
Scare tactics and attempting to make racial discrimination more of an issue than it is to divide this country.
