Tenley Levin

Is a 2029 6ft CG from Solon Iowa and the number 1 ranked player in Iowa. I believe she is the younger sister of Iowa Hawkeye Callie Levin. Does anybody know if Iowa has offered yet? Indiana has offered. Tenley is supposed to be a better player than her sister. I got that from her coach.

Hadn't even heard of her till now. But if she's the #1 ranked Iowa kid then I'm sure Jan is well in the loop on who she is. 2029 is aways off yet we'll have lots of girls to be talking about between now and then

I saw her play last Saturday in Columbia, Missouri at the Sophie Cunningham Classic. For a Freshman, she's just ok, but has a long long way to go. One of the Iowa assistant's was there looking at several athletes before she drove to Bloomington for Sunday's Iowa game.

While the Levin girl is one of Solon's go to players, they lost the game by 30 to a team from Southwest Missouri close to Springfield, named Stafford. A good team but no where near the top in Missouri.

Solon was not competitive at all is what I'm saying and as mentioned earlier, the Freshman has a long long way to go. She needs to make a huge leap from her Freshman to Sophomore season.

Thanks for the info.

I'm still all in on a kid for 27 Peyton Starwalt from Oregon... She's pretty much built like Taylor McCabe but plays like Caitlin. Her Dad posted a hand written note that Jan had written to her recently. I think there's a lot of mutual interest with them. She can shoot really deep and handle the ball well. The thing is she's just not very tall/big and not crazy explosive or athletic. But anyone with the shooting skills she has and basketball instincts for the game should be a Hawk I think she'd be a ton of fun

Its funny how quickly my expectations have skyrocketed to the stratosphere when it comes to the recruits Jan Jensen can get now.

I remember when Iowa would go after a couole of highly regarded 4-stars and I would think, gosh it would be really cool to get at least one of them. Now Iowa "needs" at least one 5-star each recruiting class and the rest need to be at least a 4-star minimum.

....and she's the #1 player in Iowa now. I'm not sure I'm buying that. Kind of weird. If that's the case, it's pretty disconcerting about where Iowa girl's basketball is if you ask me.
