He certainly was candid. I have more confidence now that the football program is seriously addressing this crucial issue. I like that Mr. Porter did not sugar coat the difficulty of change. He recognized the necessity, but also documented why it would not be easy. And, he did not waste time judging. Solutions are the goal, period.

David Porter should be hired by someone to be an Associate Athletic Director now, so he can become a full scale department leader in the near future.
