All men who even menace, let alone act, violence towards women are weak pieces of shit. That said, compared to what Phillips did to his girlfriend, this was mild. Even if every word of what she says is true, I am not sure this will end his career, especially at Nebraska.

Also, this story highlights the new world we live in. Five years ago these kids were eating ramen noodles and now they can take their girlfriends to resorts in the Keys.
