In STL, not a town known for a huge Hawk fanbase...
With my son who's been accepted to Iowa....
Surrounded by former Iowans and alumns from varying years....
Rooting for my team...

Except for fans of a half dozen other teams....

The rest were at home watching reruns of House Hunters.

Overall lack of team speed is embarrassing for a Power 5 school.. Almost every power 5 school has at least one running back that has break- away speed. Ditto at the wide out positions. Iowa has neither. Spencer Petras is a nice young man but will never be a difference maker. Cement shoes. Obviously in over his head against that kind of defense. Iowa is lucky to have played Michigan.. OSU would have scored 70. Iowa is also lacking team speed on defense. Our defense is solid but it is not a defense that will dominate ANY decent offense. I said ISU season last year was a mirage..Ditto this Iowa 10 win season.
