As usual, no more details than that given. And no reason to believe it is not true.

If so, it means that most of not all of the seasons of two men we could not do without are over.

WHAT IS IT WITH RUNNING BACKS AT IOWA??

So naturally, on top of that, our 3rd-string running back gets suspended.

Yet both Daniels and Ott are listed as starters in the released Pitt two-deeps.

when did he say that? he said this yesterday: Nothing new from Kirk on injuries: "We're not going to rule either one of them out" (for Pitt game). "Got decent news yesterday."

He said "we got decent news" yesterday...then today he said their injuries are "significant".

Kirk you ol' scamp...

You should know by now that whatever two deeps that come out after fall camp usually stay that way for entire year regardless if someone else is starting.

don't doubt you - but can someone post a link?

There is an article on Hawkcentral. It basically said that Sunday night Kirk told Hawkeyesports.com that both players had fairly significant injuries but they weren't going to rule them out, see how it goes, and proceed like they wouldn't play.

Then on Monday morning BTN aired an interview in which Kirk said, they got decent news and are keeping their fingers crossed. It didn't say that the interview was live or when it was taped.

Biggest concern is RB you can't rely on one guy for entire game.Someone has to step up or we will lose another RB.

Yeah, I think Kirk might be playing the old "Intel War" with Pitt. If I remember correctly, last year Scherff wasn't expected to play after his injury, but come Saturday, there's big ole Scherff...big as life.
