LLMs are great for a lot of things.

I looked up a part I couldn't find for my 1985 Evinrude 40hp outboard and it spit the right part number out in like 3 seconds. Saved me a ton of futile screwing around.

But when it comes to general information, it'll lie right to your face with total made up bullshit one minute, and give you great info the next minute.

One of the most fun things to do with AI is ask it the identical question five or six times in a row and watch how completely different each answer is. In this Bob Sanders thing when it gave me that answer I would've immmediately replied, "Give me several links I can visit to verify your answer."
