Reggie Evans to Brooklyn

Reggie to Brooklyn in a sign-and trade with LAC. I was contemplating jumping on the Brooklyn bandwagon, and this just gives me even more reason to. Brooklyn has officially become my new 2nd favorite team.

Edit: He was signed to a 3 year, 5 million dollar contract.

Wow, Nets are busy. Already got Joe Johnson. If they can re-sign Deron Williams and acquire Howard (Still big Ifs) they could be a legitimate contender to topple the Heat in the east. Probably become the only team capable of doing so for next year.
 
i think williams/howard/johnson would be a great complimentary fits...williams is a ball dominant pg, johnson can hit the outside shot and slash and gives good handles as a 2 guard, howard is a garbage man and can rebound and get alley oops for his points. williams/howard/johnson would equal batman/robin/batgirl.

Meh, I dont think the gap is that far. Here is a look at the best case scenario roster for the Celtics:

Rondo
Bradley
Pierce
Bass
Garnett
Terry
Ray Allen
Jeff Allen
Steimsma
Sullinger
Melo
Joseph
Moore

That team can win a championship.

I am a Bulls fan, and I agree. Boston could keep it close in the playoffs when Bosh was out, but if Miami is full strength, that wouldn't be a series.

Chicago is turning into the Cavs when LeBron was there; They're a great regular season team because they play defense all year when no one else does, but once the playoffs come, everyone else matches them. They are too dependent on one player. They need to stick a pin in Rose and Noah and flush out the rest in order to compete.
 
if melo can learn the pro game his defense will really help the celts against a team like miami as he will make it hard for james and wade to get to the basket. if howard ends up in brooklyn they will be able to hang too. that leaves the bulls as the #4 team in the east. i feel that even with rose 100% the bulls are built as being #4 compared to 1) miami, 2) nets w/ howard (big if), 3) celtics.

Ray Allen will be on the Heat hitting wide open jumpers. Boston couldnt get past Miami when.they were missing a top 20 player. With Bosh back and another year on KG and Pierce's legs, they aren't going to be getting any closer to knocking off Miami.

I think Ray stays put. Twice the money to play where he has spent the last 5 seasons.

Also Jeff Green? Not sure what his status is.

Regarding Brooklyn, Johnson is pretty good, but he disappears in the last 5 minutes of the game.

Nope, just not dumb enough to think that Ray wants to fight for minutes with JET and Bradley in Boston when he could get more minutes and have an actual title shot with the Heat instead.

Also, Nash to the Lakers is interesting. He still won't solve their problem of getting abused by opposing teams pg's but should give them a much different look on offense.

So the Heat and Celtics are the only two teams interested in Ray? Interesting...keep the free agent inside info coming Mike

He might end up in MIA but its far from a foregone conclusion
