I voted 16-20. Iowa will start in the 20s and slowly move up the rankings. Then they'll probably lose a game and fall, work their way back up and lose again. Finish 10-2 on the season.
IMO people need to temper expectations and face reality that few teams ever go 12-0 and almost no teams go back to back 12-0. It's just way too hard and every team will be gunning for iowa this year.
My big hope is that iowa and Michigan face off at kinnick in front of a national audience with a lot riding on the outcome and college game day in attendance. That would be incredible.
The Michigan game could be shades of 1985
I voted 16-20 final, but wouldn't be surprised at 11-15. If we beat Michigan to go 10-0, we'll be Top 10 and could sneak into the Top 5 depending on the rest of the country.
Iowa will go 11-1, beat OSU in CCG, make the playoffs, win the semifinal against Houston, and then lose the NCG against Clemson.
Final finish 13-2 and #2.

I think they drop a couple games. With this schedule that will result in a 16-20 ranking

Iowa will lose to Michigan and Minnesota. The Minnesota loss will hurt and prevent a top 10 finish after/if Iowa makes it to the Big10 Championship where Iowa would lose to OHST or Michigan. So, 10-2 regular season, unless Beathard is injured again. Iowa is only 7-5 with Wiegers.
