NIL Bill Working Through Congress

I have said on this Board many times that there is no way to really solve the NIL/transfer/spending gap problems that exists in college football absent Congress. Well, a ray of sunshine. Congress is voting on the bill today. Likely it passes and then they start haggling with the Senate. It is still a long ways from being a law, but there does seem to be momentum on both sides of the aisle to do something. What that something is varies, but generally, they want to give governing bodies the right to limit NIL spend and not be subject to antitrust laws. That would be huge. I think this type of thing has a real shot, first, because this is sort of a one-sided lobbying effort. Cannot imagine the athletes have a lot of voices reaching elected officials. Second, this certainly feels like something Trump would want to get involved with and support. We shall see.
