Dearly love the Dead, we decided to move to San Francisco in 1967 and when we arrived we heard
about a free concert by the Dead in Golden State Park

It was Cool, saw them countless times for free and at the Fillmore, tickets were rather inexpensive

In 1967, concert tickets to The Fillmore in San Francisco were highly affordable, typically costing $3.00 for Friday and Saturday night shows. Sunday matinee or weeknight shows were even cheaper, often running $2.00 at the door.

And they handed out free posters to next weeks show

Damn, those posters are worth a ton of money these days, I have quite a few
