He isn't a candidate, he IS the national POY. 14 straight games of 20+ points, avg 23 points and 9 rbs per game, he shoots, he posts up, he runs the floor. He's the most efficient player in the country. All in the toughest conference in america and he's doing it against best and worst competition. If this was being done at Duke or North Carolina the debate would be over and ESPN would be crowning Garza the NPOY now.

I didn't know the story about him getting head split open that's crazy. Doesn't remotely surprise me after how the start of this yr went. Dude is one tough cookie to say the least.
