J Grant and he to Memphis for Ja Morant.

Kris must be a throw in. The stats I read say Kris is a career 26% 3-point shooter in the NBA. Not good for career longevity.
 
Won’t be the last time Kris or Keegan will be traded. Not judging because both will have made a shit ton of money before their NBA careers are over.

Kris has a base salary of a little over $5M/yr. He's doing fine.
 
And most guys can at least bounce around and stick at the end of the bench beyond their initial contract. A guy like Kris is a flexible bench/practice piece and will probably stick in the league for a decade playing marginal minutes. Not the worst way to get rich.

Low end, what do we think the Murray bros. combined career earnings will be? 300-400 million? I’m lazy, so I am not going to do the homework, but aren’t they already at 150?

Keegan has earned $36M so far and just signed a 5-year extension for $140M more starting in 2026-27.

Kris has earned $9M so far and is still on his rookie contract that pays a total of $14M in 4 years.

So yeah, $300 to $400 million combined total by the time they are done, sounds about right.
 
Plus, Keegan, Kris & Kenyon are opening a basketball academy in North Liberty just across the road from Liberty High School. Just being built now about half done. I suspect it's at least a good tax right off for them will all the millions they have made and are making.
 
I'm ecstatic that Kris is out of Portland. But Memphis may even be a worse place to go. It's the purgatory of the NBA nobody wants to go there. It's great for tax purposes but that's about it. TN is a no income state tax state.

I wish Keegan hadn't resigned with Sacramento but they paid him a shit ton and I'm not sure anyone else woulda. He was hurt much of last yr and didn't play all that great. So he's stuck out there til they want to trade him pretty much.
