Funny how there are some opposing players you just remember forever.
In basketball for me there was Granville Waiters(played something like 6-7 years for Ohio State) and Lafester Rhodes (ISU) - yes, I was at Hilton for that game...ugh.
Anyway, for football Monte Ball and James Hardy for some reason clearly come to mind.
Watching Hardy I recall thinking, "How did this guy end up at Indiana instead of one of the elite programs?" He was really, really good.

Do you guys remember that one play where Kellen Lewis threw a pass and the receiver caught the ball and dropped it, then everyone just stood around and then Lewis picks the ball up and runs it in for a touchdown? That was cray cray and it was recorded as Lewis passes to Lewis for a touchdown.

I am kinda surprised that he was so average at the next level. And I was surprised that Kellen Lewis only transferred to Valdosta before disappearing.

Okay, I looked it up and the best pro player from those great Indiana Hoosiers was probably Tracy Porter, remembered for the Super Bowl interception on Peyton Manning. Bill Lynch is now head coach at DePauw University in Indiana.

James Hardy was an absolute Hawk killer. I was at that game in Kinnick where they just torched us. One of the worst I have seen.

Huh, Tracy Porter intercepted Brett Favre in the NFC Championship game, the play is best remembered for the Vikings Radio guys totally losing it like HOW DO YOU EVEN PONDER PASSING!!!

Hardy ended up with naggy leg injuries. Not sure if hamstring or something that couldn't really recover from.
